Consumers Returns Policy
Distance Selling Regulatrions
As a consumer purchaser you enjoy special rights with regards to
products and services purchased over the Internet. These rights are
provided as a result of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000 (DSRs). You might wish to read a guide to these rights
that has been produced by the Office
of Fair Trading.
One important aspect of these rights is the right to cancel your contract
with us within a limited period after the date at which that contract
is deemed to commence.
If you have purchased equipment from us, then you are able to cancel
within seven working days after the day on which you received the goods from us.
For services, you also have the right to cancel within seven working days of the service being
made available to you. However, should you start to use the service
(for example, you make a call) then you are in effect agreeing that
the service can start before the usual cancellation period expires.
In such a case you are deemed to have accepted the service and your
right to cancel within the initial seven working day period ceases
from that moment.
If you decide to cancel
Should you, as a consumer, decide to cancel within the seven working day period, then you must inform us in writing
via a letter, fax or email (we would prefer an email as that is the quickest, but you are free to use a letter or
fax should you prefer). We shall then issue a full refund (as long as you have not already started to use a service purchased
from us - see below) via bank transfer to a UK bank account.
You will also need to return to us, within 14 days and at your own expense, any equipment you have purchased. Please note that
under the DSRs you are under a statutory duty throughout the period of cancellation to retain possession of the goods and
take reasonable care of them.
If you have already started to use a service purchased from us (eg to make or receive a call) then the seven working day period
no longer applies. You will therefore be liable for your first monthly service fee and also for the costs associated with any
calls you have made or received.
Should you wish to cancel the service after the initial seven working day period then you must again inform us in writing
via a letter, fax or email (again, we would prefer an email as that is the quickest, but you are free to use a letter or
fax should you prefer). Should your account be in credit at the end of the current service period (generally the service
period will run monthly from the date you purchased the service with us) then as long as we have received formal notice
of cancellation we will refund the credit balance to you via bank transfer to a UK bank account (you will need to provide
us with the necessary details of the bank account you wish the monies to be paid into).
